Last night I uploaded my first YouTube video ever! This isn’t simply a video featuring cats playing pianos, it’s my narration of “South Ferry” by M.B. off of creepypasta.com.
For some time now I have been tossing the idea around about starting my own unique YouTube channel containing bits of production with my voice. It took some courage, I’ll admit. I used freesound.org for zapping sound effects, train noises and even maniacal laughter. The story itself cannot be more deserving of credit. I used the “Taste a random pasta” button function on Creepy Pasta’s homepage and was beyond pleasantly surprised. I read the pasta once outload the night before while listening to some reflective reading music I found, ironically on YouTube. The story was PERFECT! It was dark, funny, and best of all, AMBIGUOUS! It was the type of story that gets your brain cogs turning. If you didn’t understand it the first time then you’d certainly read it again, and again until you could comprehend its true meaning.
