Bruce Springsteen will join Jon Stewart, Seth Meyers, Jim Gaffigan, Jimmy Carr, Eric Church and other surprise guests in the 12th annual Stand Up for Heroes veterans benefit, Monday, Nov. 5, at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Springsteen’s appearance marks his return to the “Stand Up for Heroes” benefit, as he was absent last year after a run of 10 consecutive shows. He had a scheduled “Springsteen on Broadway” performance to attend last year.  Tickets for Stand Up for Heroes, part of the New York Comedy Festival, are $125 to $5,000 and go on sale at noon Thursday, Sept. 13, through bobwoodrufffoundation.org, nycomedyfestival.com and ticketmaster.com.
