The Monday Project – Episode 19: Exciting Announcements are Exciting (with guests!)

Our special guest is Cork from the Buzz Morning show to announce the lineup for the KGRG 2017 Spring Pledge Drive Show, as well as playing some music from the featured bands!

The gang talks about how they spent Easter before getting into all of the details about the Pledge Drive Show, happening Friday, May 19th at Real Art Tacoma.
Mike needs your help! He was a jerk to Mrs. MAD about watching Going in Style and needs your advice about how to be cool about watching terrible movies with your significant other.
Later, we go back to the Trailer Park and talk about the new previews for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Thor: Ragnarok. Mike gets extra triggered talking about the Transformers trailer during Get Off My Lawn.
It’s the return of Today in Geek History and we’re joined by special surprise guest Thursday (former co-host of the Buzz with Cork and Mike) for a fun round of Slumber Party questions!
Cork talks about how you can win tickets to Okilly Dokilly this week on the Buzz and we close out the night with Shout-outs where we talk about how fun it is to hear your name mentioned on the radio and podcasts.

**NEXT WEEK** It’s our Artist Takeover with local band and KGRG favorites, THESE YOUNG FOOLS! They will be live and in-studio starting at 7 pm (PST), taking your questions, talking about their latest music, and playing an acoustic set as the unofficial kick-off to the KGRG 2017 Pledge Drive. You won’t want to miss this!
